And heeeree Piggies! This is actually two litters above. Thursday, September 9th Little Pig gave birth to the first litter followed by Spotted Pig and Big Pig on Sunday and Monday for a total of 26 healthy piglets. The first little piggy built her house out of stone*. The second piggy built her house out of straw at the bottom of the South field. And the third quite big pig built her house out of sticks at the top of the South field.
Today, Friday the 17th, they all brought their piglets up to the house in the morning. After feeding Saturn herded them all back into the South field. I'm not sure if he was in 7th Heaven or at wits end with so many new charges to keep track of. He did seem to be enjoying himself though as he kept them grouped together before settling on a spot down over looking them.
